We build custom,one-of-a- kind CIGAR BOX GUITARS.I'm A ONE MAN BAND SO-TO-SPEAK.I DESIGN ,COLLECT THE PARTS,and BUILD ALL OF OUR GUITARS ,by the way,I also sweep out the shop!!!!! I've been having a TON of FUN building these AXES for some time now.That's the problem,I ran out of Room,so I had to start selling some!!!!And by the way,I've got a great little Wife that helps out often!

Our CIGAR BOX GUITARS are Custom made in the Hills of Western Tennessee with a Solid RED OAK HARD WOOD NECK-THRU-BODY STYLE.Thus you have ample strength,all on the neck,no pressure on the box .All have a Custom hand carved Bent Head..Each CIGAR BOX GUITAR has a Electric Guitar Jack with internal insulated Piezo Transducer pickup,custom Acoustic sound vents,with a adjustable steel bridge. Great to play Acoustic OR Plug THESE AXES UP and really Raunch out those Memphis Blues! These Cigar Boxes have some GREAT TONES!

The 3 string Cigar Box Guitars are Tuned to A-D-A.Thus you have a cord anywhere on the Red Oak Hardwood Neck, though one can tune to their own stylin... I tune the 4 stringers to open G tuning,but there again you can tune these cigar Box guitars to your own style of playing!!There are NO RULES with a Cigar box guitar!!!Neck Length is classic Standard Fretless with Marked frets. Action is great for using a slide!!! That's What this baby is made for!!! Notice the special fret markings!

Don't have a slide? I'll include a hand made long neck bottle slide,or copper slide(up to you) and a homemade Pick for you to Blues It UP!!! If you choose to go Electric ----Turn down your treble,turn up the bass,set your gain and really get that ol' BACK porch sliding Blues.I really enjoy sitting on the swing out back under the shade of the whisperin pines and plugging up my little battery powered amp,and just forget about the world , sink back in Rhythm to that time before Cell phones,Computers,and **4.00 + GALLON GAS*** If you want a keepsake that will increase in value and be passed down for generations,this is it!!

   The guitar is awesome ... really good tone and craftsmanship, and the handmade bottleneck slide is very cool.

    Got her in the mail today! What can I really say? I'm amazed. As soon as I got 
    home from work  I put her in open G and had to tear myself 
    away to write you a quick thank you note . This is going 
    to continue to make me happy for years to come. Plus it gives me one more reason 
    to piss off those music snobs 'round town. They just don't have the soul and 
    this Poorboy has lots of it. Mean soul at that. This Scalper will surely live up

Rusty, Got home and started playin around with it, and for the first couple of hours it pretty much sounded like
somebody had turned a badger loose inside a piano, but before I put it down about 1 o'clock this morning I actually
had some decent North Mississippi Hill Country sounds coming out of it. I got so into it I went to bed without eating
supper or taking a shower. This morning my neck is sore from looking down that long. Hopefully I can learn to play
with my head up!

    Rusty, I don't want to be a pain in the neck, but I had to write again just to say how much fun I am having with this little sweetie you made! I also play fiddle and banjo, and I always feel like I have to "practice" them and "make progress." With the CBG, it's all about fun. I sat there last night for a couple hours trying different sounds. I took your suggestion and am using a spark plug socket. I ordered a little Smokey mini amp but I will still like the acoustic sound. Thanks again, and keep on making more. Mary
